Women, Trans/genderqueer, Femmes Night at the Bike Kitchen

WTF night at the Bike Kitchen has been rolling since July 2007, on the last Mondays of the month. Bike repair, crafting, and snacking have been the scene for the women, transgender, genderqueer, gendervarient, femmes and others who have shown up for it. WTF is for folks who have had gender based barriers keepin' them from accessing mechanics and no one will be turned away.

What it looks like: a greasy community bike shop with tools and mechanics to help you fix your bike or guide you through building one from the used parts on hand.

There is a $5-10 dollar sliding scale donation for one nights use, or you can join the bike kitchen for a sliding scale of $30-100 year membership. Plus- with a year long membership, you can pay $30 bucks for digging rights/build a bike rights! Barter/work trade is available too!

The Bike Kitchen is located at 1256 Mission between 8th and 9th on Laskie Alley. And the next WTF nights are:

Last Mondays 6:30-9pm
March 31st (with repair demos)
April 28th
May 26th
June 30th
