WTF in the SF Bay Guardian May, 14th

WTF makes it into the top 10 things Bay Area Cyclists should know! And they got kinda close about who WTF is for...

"9.
DIY is the way forward. The three-class series at Box Dog Bikes (www.boxdogbikes.com), which covers flats, replacing cables, and truing wheels, is cheap and goes into enough depth that I no longer feel like there are certain parts of my bike I'm not supposed to touch with an Allen wrench. Follow it up with a membership to the Bike Kitchen (www.bikekitchen.org), a DIY shop with tools, parts, and people on hand to help you tune your spokes. It also regularly hosts "WTF" nights for girls, queers, and transpeople."

Take off that lens cap! WTF hosts films at Bikebike!

Bike culture is bloomin', and despite the boomin' nature of WTF bike riders and artists, I'm still feeling like I want to see more women, more trans/genderqueer folks, more femmes... of all colors and sizes and relationship to the law... in photos and on the screens of bike film fests!

And so, in a less run on-y sentence, I open the call. Bring on your videos and films, WTF artists, to be gathered, sorted, and shown at the BikeBike conference in late September in the SF Bay! The deadline to get 'em in will be August 29th. More submission info to come!
